Flower Guide
Dried Flower Guide:
If you are shipping your pre-dried flowers to us, please make sure the box you ship them in is secured and not able to bounce around. When blooms are dried, they are more fragile.
Fresh flower guide:
It is recommended to ship your flowers as soon as possible (24-48 hours) after your special event. we recommend overnighting your flowers, however if this is not possible, please use FedEx or UPS 1-2 day shipping. Before shipping, please keep your flowers in the upright position in the refrigerator, not the freezer. When shipping, place flowers in a styrofoam cooler and then inside a cardboard box surrounded by styrofoam peanuts or crumpled newspaper. Please also add coolant blocks (anything that you would use when packing your lunch for the day) inside the cooler. If you think you have enough, add more just in case!
Please be aware that if there are shipment delays, misplaced, and/or damaged flowers due to shipment, we are not responsible.
Additional INFORMATION
Through the preservation process, colors may get darker or lighter or change hues. We work hard to make sure that we dry them out in such a way that they keep their original color, however, some may change slightly.
if your bouquet has dahlia’s or sunflowers, please wrap them separately as they are more fragile and decompose faster.
communication
When ordering, please supply a phone number you have access to. We update during the process, such as, arrival of the flowers, design concept for approval, and sneak peaks when your order is complete.
steps
-deconstruct your flowers for shipment. Please include all flowers so that we have more to work with to create your piece.
-Cut a small amount off the bottom of the stems, a couple cM is the best.
-Wrap the stems in a damp paper towel and place the stems in a plastic bag and secure with a rubber band.
-Place the coolant blocks in the cooler and place aluminum foil over it. Then place crumpled paper or peanuts on this. Now your flowers are ready to be placed inside of the cooler. add remained peanuts or paper so your flowers do not bounce or move during shipment. however, do not pack too tightly as this could crush your flowers.
-tape the lid shut on your styrofoam cooler. place this inside of a cardboard box and make sure there is no room for the cooler to move around. close this with packing tape and label the box, “Fragile-Do not crush” on all sides as well as, “this side up” on the top.
you are now ready to send your flowers!!! we are excited to help you preserve your flowers that hold so many memories.
